Introduction to Services The PHS provides records management, archival, preservation, and other educational services to all governing bodies of the church and promotes the study of American Presbyterianism through a variety of programs including the American Presbyterian and Reformed Historic Sites Registry records deposit microfilming workshops conferences traveling displays anniversary services publications including the Journal of Presbyterian History The PHS provides reference services in its extensive collections of published and archival material. Holdings include over 20,000 cubic feet of eighteenth- to twentieth-century records and personal papers; over 250,000 books; and museum objects all documenting the Presbyterian and Reformed tradition. These include the records of predecessor denominations and some ecumenical organizations.
