Cortlandt Van Rensselaer Society
In the mid-nineteenth century, Cortlandt Van Rensselaer led efforts to establish PHS, ensuring that the history of American Presbyterianism is carefully preserved. Today, we honor his vision through this special giving society, which recognizes supporters who provide for the long-term vitality of our programs and services with planned gifts.
Members of the Cortlandt Van Rensselaer Society receive special acknowledgement for their generosity and are invited to special events. You can become a member simply by naming PHS a beneficiary in your will or other estate plans and notifying us of your intentions.
By becoming a Cortlandt Van Rensselaer Society member, you show your commitment to the American Presbyterian experience—past, present, and future—and ensure that the stories of our faith go on to inspire future generations.
