Appointments

In-person research is available by appointment only. Six spots are available per day. Please reserve only one seat per appointment slot. Exceptions will be made for patrons who require physical assistance for research. If you are ill or have been exposed to COVID, please reschedule your appointment.

Researchers are able to book appointments up to four months (120 days) in advance. Same day appointments are available up to two hours before appointment time (6:59 a.m.). If you would like to make a same day appointment, please call the reference desk at 215-627-1852 to check availability. Appointment times are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but you are free to come in as your schedule allows during this time period.

To see available dates, scroll down to the appointment scheduler below. Click the date you would like to book, then click the time and the “Confirm” button. In the form, enter your details then click “Schedule Event.” Please note that the scheduler only allows you to book one day at a time. Click the arrow at the top left or the link to "Schedule another appointment" to return to the scheduler to book additional days. We ask that you limit the total number of reservations you make to four days.

• Tuesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST)
• Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST)
• Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST)
• Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST)
